I just talked to my Brother on the Phone!! :D

SO excited! My brother called and I got to talked to him, he is on his way to Las Vegas right now :). Off to the field, lots to Harvest.

Riley's B-day was great! We got to Celebrate his birthday at his mom's house on Sunday the 21st. with his side of the family, Hamburger and Hotdogs.. yum :) then on Tuesday I took him to Rubio's :D the new one thats in Orem, he loves his fish tacos :p. Then got to make him a cake and Celebrated his birthDay at my parents house with ice cream and his chips and salsa :) He had fun with his new toy that my mom got him in the picture you can see the Jealous and Wowed faces of the kids :p hehe. Later that week we decided to change it for a different one, the other one needed batteries and he preferred the ones with out it. He got lots of gifts too! Thanks Everyone for Celebrating Ri's 24th Birthday with us.





Then on Friday the 26th We had a Chilean Fundraiser, so we could help Chile and all the people that are suffering Cuz of the Earthquake. We had been making preparations before and everything that day I was up at 6am went to pick my dad up and headed over to start baking Empanadas at 7am. I felt so full but barely had eaten any breakfast. by noon we had baked around 560 Empanadas... and I was the one that was receiving them when they got out of the Oven to put them in boxes.. I didn't want to eat any Empandas... my stomach was telling me that I was hungry and everything but I waited until I got that feeling out of my head and nose..
The Activity was great! a lot of work and it got so busy but it was fun I hope that the people that went to enjoy themselves were able to :). We collected around $6,000 to send to Chile!! It was great!


Saturday came, woke up sick... didn't want to do anything but we had to go to Logan for a Sealing, The Mata Family got sealed Riley new them from his mission, he was there when the Eduardo(the father) got baptized. They were very glad that he was there they are awesome! super nice and friendly and make you feel like their house is your own home (I know a lot of people tell you that when you go in their home, but you just felt like you were in your own). The temple was beautiful and the town was very nice, everything was slower.. if the speed limit was 35mph everyone was going under that or tops 35mph it just made you want to slow down and enjoy the ride.
I loved it there!

Catching up before Ri's B-day!... Yeah Right..

Its been fun and not so fun, its been crazy, its been busy...its been life!
My brother went into the MTC last week, he was so ready and stoked :). So we had to find as much time as possible to hang out with him, he got to go with my dad do the Salt Lake Temple and then he went on a date with my mom, they went to watch a movie and got lucky to have the whole movie theatre for themselves and got free popcorn, it was very nice to see him let my mom hug him more than the usual.Then we went bowling with him which was very fun, I wish we could of spend more time with him that day but a lot of things showed up that day and couldn't. On Sunday we got to take pictures with him and the family, Thanks Laura! she's great for taking time of her sunday to take pictures for us. Then we went to Riley's mom's house for Dinner, we made a March B-day poster to take to Peggy's house were we celebrated March Birthdays in the Family it was fun and yummy!




So the day was getting closer for Diego to enter the mtc, he was excited that he was able to see our friend Renato that returned from his mission on Tuesday, got released as an elder that day at 7pm Diego got set apart as an Elder that same night at 8pm. It was really cool to see them together after 2 years, and so crazy how much they have grown spiritually it was awesome! So on Wednesday the 10th of March, Renato and his mom came over with their car so we could take Diego to the MTC, we said our goodbyes and tried to hold on to him a little longer... and I saw this glow in him the glow of the spirit of the Lord, and he would only say "can I go now..?" :p he was so ready to go and learn and do the Lord's work. and off he went a grown man walking to serve the Lord and his people. I'm so proud of him! its incredible the change from my little bugging bro. to a grown man full of the spirit.

So after we had been trying to help Cecilia (Renato's Mom) for Renato's home coming party that they wanted to do. We did posters and that friday went to church to get everything set up and to warm food up and get everything ready, I had taken two turkeys for my parents to cook in their oven and there we were almost the whole time running back and forth and in the kitchen. Ok so this might sound like too much for a homecoming but it helps to undertand our culture, we like to celebrate bigger then the usual american family :p. its just part of us. so yes we had a dinner with his friends and family to celebrate. which means a lot of people.. my feet hurt so bad after, but it was fun and it was nice to see a lot of friends that we hadn't seen in a while.

So this week has been a little busy and Riley has Spring Break so we got to hang out yesterday and watched a movie it had been such a long time since we were able to just sit watch a movie and not to worry or have to be doing so many things. How nice life is when you get to do something you can enjoy and just do that and not have a million things in your head!

And now to plan and enjoy this coming week, its Riley's B-day on Tuesday and I really want him to enjoy himself and not worry about anything. To just have a normal week and not so hectic and to have a happy happy birthday!!
